I found out that i am allergic to salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide so i am trying to find an over the counter product. I do not want to go to a dermatologist becuase my acne is not that bad. If anybody can help, please it will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I use Retin-A and it really makes my face dry. is cetaphil a good lotion to combat this? will it clog my pores and make the acne worse? i’ve been using vaseline lotion on my face but its kind of counteracting the acne medicine

I have acne on my face, but it’s really bad on my back. prom is on April 20 and I really want to be able to go wothout being insecure about my skin. so I started these medicines about a week ago. How long do you think it will take before I see a difference?
100 mg of doxycycline two times a day
clindamycin phosphate 1% (morning on face)
tretinoin cream .05% on face and back at night

I just finised using Oxy and that stuff doesn’t even work and i heard about it through this website. I have used almost anything you can think of and have to gone to plenty of dermotologist. Also, don’t believe that Proactive Solution will work! I works for some people, but not me. I’m also allergic to Salysic acid, so that rules out some acne medicine.

I use Epiduo for my acne. The doctor said it has peroxide in it and will bleach my clothes white if I get it on them. I know peroxide can bleach your hair too. If get it in my eyebrows or my bangs could it lighten my hair or is acne medicine not strong enough? My hair is light brown and I get gold sun highlights in the summer. I really don’t want bright eyebrows.
